To apply for a study permit to study overseas in Canada, you will have to first secure an acceptance letter from a DLI in Canada. A DLI is an educational institution specifically approved by a provincial or territorial government to host international students.
A study permit is a document issued by the federal Government of Canada allowing overseas-born nationals to study at any of the Designated Learning Institutions (DLIs) in Canada
Keep in mind that simply graduating from a DLI in Canada does not automatically make you eligible for a PGWP.
Ensure that you cross-check from the DLI list to find out whether your intended higher educational institution in Canada has eligible programs.
